HAVE ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THOSE AND DO WE HAVE ANY CHANGES OR AMENDMENTS THAT NEED TO BE MADE TO THE MINUTES? NO, SIR.

UM, THE APPLICANT IS REQUESTING APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN FOR A NEW FIRE STATION.

IT'S FIRE STATION NUMBER SIX AND IT'LL BE LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF KELLY AVENUE AND KELLY LAKES PASS.

UH, THE SITE IS ZONED AS A P U D ALLOWING FOR OFFICE COMMERCIAL USES AND REQUIRES A USE PERMIT FOR GOVERNMENT FACILITIES.

SO THAT IS A PART OF THIS APPLICATION AS WELL.

UH, THE SITE PLAN SHOWS ONE BUILDING THAT IS 29 FEET TALL AT ITS TALLEST POINT.

UH, THE BUILDING WILL BE PREDOMINANTLY BRICK AND STONE WITH METAL ACCENTS.

UH, THE SITE PLAN ALSO SHOWS 15 PARKING SPACES.

UH, THE DRIVE SERVING THE STATION REQUIRE A VARIANCE, UH, IN ORDER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.

UH, IT'S THE DRIVE SOUTH OF KELLY LAKE PASS ON KELLY IS ONLY 189 FEET SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION INSTEAD OF THE REQUIRED 325 FEET AND THE DRIVE IS, UH, 52 FEET WIDE.

INSTEAD OF THE MAXIMUM 35 FEET ALLOWED BY CODE, UH, STAFF DOES SUPPORT BOTH THOSE VARIANCES.

OTHER THAN THOSE REQUESTED VARIANCES, UH, THE LANDSCAPING, SETBACKS, LIGHTING, AND OTHER SITE REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET AND STAFF RECOMMENDS APPROVAL.
