CITY OF EDMOND IS THE APPLICANT AND WE ARE PRESENT.
YES, APPLICANT IS REQUESTING APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN FOR THE FACILITY RENOVATION OF THE AC KEPLINGER SPORTS COMPLEX LOCATED, UM, NEAR NINTH AND BRYANT.
THE PROJECT INCLUDES 10 BALL FIELDS, A RESTROOM AND OFFICE BUILDING, A MAINTENANCE BUILDING, AND THREE PARKING LOTS, WHICH INCLUDE 488 PARKING SPACES.
THE SITE IS APPROXIMATELY 27.5 ACRES AND ACCESS WILL BE PROVIDED AT THREE POINTS ALONG THE EXISTING DRIVE THAT ALSO SERVES FER PARK.
THE SITE PLAN COMPLIES WITH APPLICABLE REGULATIONS WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION.
THE CURRENT PROJECT PLANS INCLUDE VARIANCES FOR REDUCED PARKING AREA, LANDSCAPING AND PLANT UNIT REQUIREMENTS.
THE DESIGN SEEKS TO BALANCE THE DEMANDS OF THE PROJECT, INCLUDING PLAYABILITY GOALS, PARKING, AVAILABILITY, BUDGET, AND THE ABILITY TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY MAINTENANCE OVER TIME.
THE ELEVATION SHOWS THAT THE BUILDINGS CONSIST OF, OH WAIT, JUST A SECOND.
THE ELEVATION SHOWS THAT THE BUILDINGS CONSIST OF MASONRY BLOCK AND PRE-FINISHED METAL PANELS.
STAFF RECOMMENDS APPROVAL SUBJECT TO THE VARIANCES.
